The Personality
A bit more about us
A symbol of Anatolian heritage, the 8-Cornered Hat (Sekiz Köşeli Şapka) has been worn by Turkish men for centuries. Crafted from wool or felt, its unique shape represents wisdom, resilience, and cultural pride. Once popular among villagers, craftsmen, and elders, this hat is still seen in traditional folk dances and festivals.
Rooted in Ottoman and early Republican-era fashion, it remains a nostalgic icon of Turkey’s rich past. Whether as a keepsake or a fashion statement, the 8-cornered hat connects visitors to the timeless spirit of Anatolian tradition.
